A Beautiful Mind

A Beautiful Mind is an extraordinary novel written by Sylvia Nasar, which later hit the big screen in 2001. The novel follows the story of John Forbes Nash, Jr. a Nobel Peace Prize winner who proved  that psychiatrists are wrong about schizophrenia being a brain disease along with Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease. Nash was already considered a astounded genius in his early twenties. He attended and graduated from Princeton University making him move forward in his fame as a young professor. Reaching the age of 30 led him to having delusions about receiving messages from space. Nash was diagnosed with schizophrenia, which made his very own wife place him in a psychiatric hospital to get help.He refused further treatment from the hospital knowing that this was not the help he needed. The insulin shock treatments were torture and the medications made him feel foggy. No-one not even a mental patient deserves to be tortured in that manner, no one... A Beautiful mind is sure to touch the lives of anyone who opens the book and reads this fascinating masterpiece word for word
